14 Years Transforming How People Relate to Stress

Azhar’s journey into resilience coaching began after completing his clinical psychology degree at Universiti Malaya in 2010. He started in hospital settings, but quickly realized where the real need was — helping working professionals in Petaling Jaya develop sustainable coping strategies before burnout became a crisis.

Over the past decade and a half, he’s built a specialized methodology that combines cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices. His breakthrough came in 2017 when he established the Resilience Works program, which has supported hundreds of individuals and teams. What drives him isn’t complicated: witnessing the shift that happens when people stop viewing stress as a threat and start understanding it as a signal for change.
